Privacy policy

What we collect, how we use it, and who can see it.

This page explains what data the Dimax store collects, why we collect it, and who can access it. It applies to this website only.

What we collect

At checkout we ask for your name, phone number, emirate, and area or district. A full address, an email address and order notes are optional — write them if you want to.

We do not ask you to create an account, we never ask for a password, and we never handle card details: payment is on delivery.

Like any website, ours also records automatically: your IP address, your browser and device type, and the pages you visited.

Why we collect it

Only to handle your order: to prepare it, call you to confirm it, deliver it to the right address, and answer you if you get in touch about it. We do not use your data for anything else without telling you.

Who can see it

The Dimax team that handles orders.

Because of how the site runs, some of it also reaches:

  • Telegram: every new order sends a notification to a private channel used by our team, containing the name, phone number, address and order details, so preparation can start straight away.
  • Our hosting provider: the site and its database sit on a server operated by an external provider.
  • Snapchat: we use Snapchat's measurement tool (Snap Pixel) to learn which advert brought you here. It reports events such as viewing a product or completing an order along with its value. It does not send your name, phone number or address.

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else, unless a public authority requests it under the law.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember the language and theme you chose, and measure advert performance. You can delete or block them in your browser settings, though the cart may stop working if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for two years, for follow-up, exchanges and accounting. You may ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Reach us through the Contact page and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the way we work changes. The date at the bottom of the page shows the last update.
